A Duffel Bag Full of Bricks

| Plus-size model Tara Lynn |
Nowadays I see too many big girls looking like the title of this post, bursting and jiggling around in all the wrong places (and comically wearing Beyonce-inspired outfits that do everything but flatter their measurements).
Have you seen plus-size model Tara Lynn in the April issue of French Elle? That's a well put-together "thicky-thick!"
Ladies, some of you will never be Angelina Jolie skinny and that's okay, but you've got to make sure that what you're carrying is toned, firm, and with as little "hail damage" as possible.
I'm saying you need to be in the gym as often and as hard as the petite girl who's tiny enough to fit in his pocket. Some men are into plus-size women, but no men are into sloppy-looking fat chicks-- straight up.

Infatuation: A Man's Anti-Horny
If a man is into you-- as in he might want a relationship-- he won’t want to have sex with you. Not at first.
The man who rushes in for sex is the man who doesn’t give a damn about cultivating anything beyond the act itself. If this is okay with you then by all means oblige him, but don’t expect him to buy the cow; the milk was all he wanted.
True infatuation-- and I mean the substantial kind here-- freezes a man’s libido. Sure, he’s down to kiss and cuddle, spoon and giggle, maybe even engage in a little oral quid pro quo, but that’s as far as he wants to go for now.
His fear is that sex will corrupt the perfect little world he’s been building around the two of you in his mind, spoiling any chance at a relationship. The sexual act, made shallow by his past (forgettable) conquests, threatens him when what he seeks is a deeper connection.
Don’t let your insecurities get the better of you; his not wanting to sleep with you is personal, but in a good way. So for now just enjoy the corny miniature golf dates.

(Answers to) Questions for Women
Questionnaire created with Formstack. [Note: Answers (in italics) are presented exactly as they were received.]
Finish this sentence: My last relationship ended because…
tired of supporting his jobless ass, when he was more inclined to play video games than look for a new job
What do you think turns men off about you?
That I'm smarter than most of them. :)
How much do movies and T.V. influence your attitudes about/toward relationships?
Movies and TV don't influence my attitude towards relationships, they are fictional, even friendships portrayed on tv can be unrealistic.
What kind of books do you read?: all types
fiction, comedy usually, non-fiction too
If you could change one thing about men— adding or deleting— what would it be?
their "predisposition to cheat or need to sow their seeds"
Do you think it’s right to go into a man’s cell phone or access his e-mail or Facebook accounts?
def depends on the situation. I feel like in general you should trust him, but let's face it...men Lie.
Do women and images in music videos or magazines influence how you “present” yourself to men?
For the most part they don't. May give me more motivation at the gym "if only i had an ass like that"
What societal factors do you see influencing men’s behavior toward women?
the fact that so many women put up with too much bs
If you found yourself single at age forty, would you still try to get married?
who knows, im sure by that point I would stop hunting for a man to marry and cougar it up :)
Where do you see yourself, relationship-wise, in five years?
Who knows? Lol if I followed my unrealistic "life plan" i would be married, but I'm not in any hurry to get married

Saltwater/Freshwater
Ninety-seven percent of earth’s water is saltwater-- undrinkable. Two-thirds of the remaining three percent is frozen solid (full of dead-ass dinosaurs). That leaves one percent of the world’s water available for drinking, showering, washing, Flashdancing, etc.
Now, do this for me: Imagine that men are like water.
It’s safe to say you’ve been swallowing quite a bit of saltwater. You’ve been “dying” of thirst and even though you know it’s a FAIL you scoop your hands in, again and again, for a sip of something that will only leave you dried out, fatigued… salty.
Most men just won’t quench your thirst no matter how fresh they may seem in a moment of weakness-- nor how much you drink. They belong to a larger body, moving toward the shores of a man’s world (where men's need are paramount), the current so strong that once caught in it you’ll most surely be dashed against the rocks.
Freshwater men are hard to find yet worth the search. They give you energy, clear your mind, and even take a little fat off of you (in whatever position you like). They too have impurities but none that will kill you. You could hold out for bottled water but in the end it’s just fresh or tap water dressed up to make you feel better. Just dip your hand in the freshwater as it flows your way; drink it down, let it flow through you. You’ll be surprised at how refreshed you feel.
This has been a parable… on Good Friday.

Romantic Comedies Have Failed You for the Last Time (Hopefully)
Only in rom-coms do two completely incompatible people with warring personalities end up kissing atop an American landmark only a tourist would notice.
Only in rom-coms can a woman leave the man she’s supposed to marry at the altar and run away with the uncouth, rugged upstart to live happily ever after.
Only in rom-coms does the best friend become the best life-partner after years of platonic obscurity.
Only in rom-coms… shit, you get the idea. Take out the comedy and you’ve got something like a TV soap opera, a fantasy realm where people who’ve just had tropical monkey sex lie on top of each other covered by hot-ass sheets that are mysteriously dry. You watch these silly stories as entertainment for one reason: they don’t happen in real life. So why do you persist on patterning your life after Sex and the City or Love Happens?
First off, the people in romance novels, TV shows, and movies are always beautiful. (Not to say that you aren’t beautiful but… well, maybe you’re not.) And they're never too busy for romance! Despite being a swashbuckling pirate on the run, a hard-charging defense attorney, or an overworked customer service rep, they seem to have shitloads of time for adventures in love and sex. And there’s always some grand overture in the third act where the one who screwed up, usually the guy, rides a horse through New York traffic or uncovers the magic spell or interrupts the wedding or runs through a crowded airport to stop her from getting on that plane (to hell with homeland security!).
What they never show is what happens after the credits roll. And that’s what your life is-- what happens after you stop watching chick flicks and go about the business of being a chick… in the real world. So if you can't separate men from movie myths, turn off the damn TV!
Hitting the gym will get you much farther, I promise.
